Jane Goodall is an exceptional woman. As a scientist she revolutionized chimpanzee research methods, especially at a time when science was controlled by men and their ways. But Jane said no. She changed things and from her, the nature of these animals was finally understood. Today, National Geographic decided to tell her life story in a documentary that will be aired this Sunday, March 11.

Jane is a journey through the story of a woman who was able to succeed in a field dominated by men. What was her revolution? She personalized her research and formed an emotional bond with the chimpanzees of Gombe, Nigeria. Janes gained the trust of these animals and only then did she discover that they are highly intelligent, social creatures capable of using tools to obtain food.
