The León Designation of Origin intensifies its promotional work after fifteen months of practical inactivity in person and after attending the Verema Experience Malaga on May 24 and the great gastronomic fair of Madrid Fusion, between May 31 and June 2, the appointment this week was in Sanxenxo (Pontevedra), the most touristic city of Galicia. Five wineries affiliated to the Regulatory Council competed with their Albarín whites and Prieto Picudo rosés and reds at the first Tentación Ibérica event, where wines are enjoyed in harmony with the country’s best selection of hams.
Vile La Finca, Melva and Pardevalles, all three from Valdevimbre, Vinícola Valmadrigal, from Castrotierra de Valmadrigal, and Gordonzello, from Gordoncillo, were the wineries that attended Tentación Ibérica with their wines and sales teams. The showrooom organized by Gustatio was reserved exclusively for on-trade professionals. At the Gran Talaso Hotel Sanxenxo, attendees were able to enjoy more than five hundred harmonizations between the best wines from the designations of origin León, Rías Baixas, Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Uclés.
